Derek

Derek came into the shelter as a stray. He wasn't reclaimed by his owner. Derek is approx. 2 years old, is looks like an American Staffy x Kelpie or Lab mix. He can be a little shy and timed at first but once he knows you, he will be your best friend. He has met doggie friends here at the shelter, as loves being out with Miley. He can play rough, so if you have another doggie at home they must be able to keep up with him. If you do have another dog at home a meet and greet is required.
He is very clean in his kennel and walks ok on the lead. He does appear to have some separation anxiety, so we are looking for a home with another dog as this does calm him down, or somebody who is home a lot to spend time with him. He is untested with cats, pocket pets and livestock.
