About Rosie
My name is Rosie, but my nickname is 'Snowy'. I am loveable and cuddly with a cute toothy smile. I am very intelligent and work hard to please people, especially if they feed me tasty treats.
I like running, chasing tennis balls, rounding up wheelbarrows, push bikes and people in gumboots! I am very fast and at my happiest when I am busy running and doing a job.
I love swimming, chasing a sprinkler and catching drips of water off the roof when it rains. Thunderstorms don't scare me, but I am wary of strangers and unfamiliar dogs and sometimes I at them especially if I am on a lead. Don't get me wrong, I want to meet people and play with dogs! Sometimes they are scary and sometimes it’s frustrating that I can’t reach them to say Hi, my humans say I should carry a toy when we walk to keep my quiet!
I like to wind my active day down about 7pm, where you will find me snuggled on the couch, soaking up the belly rubs. I love to wear jackets, coats, jumpers, when it’s cold, they make me feel safe too.
I am looking for a quiet house with owners who will be able to exercise and entertain me with games every day. I love other dog's company once I know them. I am gentle and loving and can't wait to meet you!
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Rosie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
She recently started on medication, fluoxetine, to help her stop worrying so much. She already feels like a different dog!
