About Marvin - 3 Year Old Pug (Trial)
Hello! I'm Marvin the Marvellous!
My foster mum said I'm funny and have these quirky ways that just crack her up. She likes talking to me a lot even if I'm always cranky answering back especially if it's feeding time. She said I have the cutest bark. I'm a little bit sensitive to sounds from outside the house but she doesn't really shoosh me unlike my foster brother Billy who's very tiny but with a massive vocal cord, he can really bark! I love my foster siblings, we play and chase around the house and the backyard, but Tess the dino dog plays more with me than Billy, so I annoy him even more. hehe I don't have any other fury friends like cats, but I am very friendly towards all specially children, well, older children are better from 4 year old up who won't always crumple my face due to my cuteness. My foster mum tucks us in every night and wipes my face with hypoallergenic wipes specially my face and the crepes under my eyes.
I'm very fond of my foster dad. He plays wrestle with me and cuddles me a lot. I'm a little heavy at 9kg but I'm his lap dog and he carries me sometimes like a baby. He drives me and my foster family around and I love it, although I get a little anxious when we go to new places, pants and it seems difficult to breathe, but as long as you bring me a lot of water, shady, cool place to relax, I will be okay. I'm a chill, home buddy, lazy dog, but if you're up for adventure, I'm 100% game! Just be mindful that I can only do mini walks cause I might over heat and I need a lot of water and time to rest. You see, if you have a snub nose like mine, men, it's like breathing thru a straw. lol But don't worry I don't have that loud snore that wakes you up at dawn when we sleep. :)
My foster mum teases me a lot about being fat (like her) but the vet says I'm in perfect sexy shape! Although I really love food sooo much! I eat wet food and must be in chunks cause I find it difficult to pick up food if they're crushed. I also like some dry food mixed with my wet food sometimes. Oh and I love treats but pretty please hold the treats near my mouth while I try to bite it, cause with my snub nose, I find it hard to pick it up from the floor. I like toys and small balls too but not that of an avid fan.
I love our home, it has a nice grassy backyard and colorbond fencing which I need cause I like to run and play around at times. I miss my foster parents when they go out, but I'm pretty behave staying at home while waiting for them. My foster siblings are good companions while we wait, but I think I'm also good just being by myself. Mostly, I like chilling inside the cool, cozy house as I'm not well with the hot environment, so I prefer being an inside dog. That's also why I'm okay with baths and I drink water a lot. And by the way, you may need to bear with me as I may still have accidents inside the house as my tummy acts up during midnight when all the doors are already shut.
My foster mum said, I'm a terrific dog and the perfect life companion. I can see she is sad when she said somebody may adopt me soon. But she is excited for the good life I have ahead with a family that's going to love and take care of me forever. I'm so excited to meet my own human soon! I promise to be a good boy and will love you forever and ever!
Love and Kisses,
Marvin
