About Sophie - 6 Year Old Miniature Fox Terrier (Hold)
Sweet Sophie the six-year-old, 5kg miniature Fox terrier needs a forever family where she’s adored. After years of being used for breeding Sophie deserves a calm and loving home. Loud, sudden noises scare her so an understanding family is essential.
She’s not much of a barker, preferring to spend the majority of her days indoors. Being under the covers in a warm bed or on your lap are her happy places. She walks well on lead and would enjoy daily exercise with her new family. She doesn’t have high energy needs or need a large backyard. Although will need secure fences as she to likes to climb.
Although she gets along with other dogs, she would be happy being an only dog and the apple of your eye.
She’ll need someone home more often than not as she gets lonely and can sing then song of her people to let you know she misses you. Loud noises and sudden movements and raised arms can frighten her so kids over 8 would suit her best.
Sophie is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW. She’s still frightened of car rides so not suitable for adoption outside of NSW. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, vet checked and microchipped.
