Welcome, Athena, a fantastically affectionate feline with a dash of sass. Athena has quickly won the hearts of everyone she's met, with her distinctive character and compelling backstory. Startled easily, she might offer a harmless hiss but rest assured, there's not a mean bone in her, and once the initial surprise subsides, she's back to her sweet self.

Athena carries her own unique story, including growing up in a cat colony where she obtained a leg injury. Despite that, the past hasn't hindered this girl at all. Though she's missing a quarter of one of her back legs, it doesn’t inflict any pain on her, nor does it limit her mobility. Our vets decided it didn't need any surgical intervention as she copes perfectly well.

In regards to Athena's health, FIV positive, which means she needs to find a home without other cats, unless adopter is willing to FIV vaccinate their resident cats as she is extremely cat friendly and has been housed with other fosters who have come and gone without any hiccups. Athena is sociable and friendly with other cats, which is a testament to her amicable nature. We recommend researching FIV positive cats to fully understand Athena's condition. Despite this, Athena is living her life to the fullest and brings a unique charm to her surroundings.

Athena would love to find a warm, loving home where she can live out her years in comfort and happiness. She is the perfect match for someone looking for a cat with a ton of personality who knows how to warm hearts. She’s looking for someone who can provide her a safe indoor space, and in return, she promises a lifetime of love, laughs, and companionship. Any family would be lucky to have Athena become a part of their lives. She is longing for the chance to be loved and cherished.
