About Frankie
Frankie has such a sweet nature and is so gentle around his humans.
Frankie loves other dogs.
Frankie has been fully obedience trained – he is a very intelligent dog and has good recall.
Frankie enjoys his daily walks, and after some sessions with a dog trainer and changing to use a halti harness, Frankie is now a pleasure to take out walking.
Frankie is currently in foster care, with another male foster dog of the same age. The two dogs get along perfectly and have lots of play sessions.
Frankie’s ideal home would be with a family, who will include him and allow him to live inside the home and be part of the family.
Frankie is fully house trained.
Frankie would love another dog as a companion.
Frankie will need a fully fenced yard.
Frankie is not cat friendly but is ok with school age children.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
