About Rum
*In foster care in Bondi, Sydney*
Rùm's favourite thing in the world is having fun! This gorgeous play-and-purr machine was pretty spicy early on, but now his love for humans knows no bounds :)
Always the first to come running for snuggles in the morning, before dashing off for a play sesh with his brothers, Rùm is definitely full of beans. He's a bit of a klutz so he takes some epic tumbles, but always manages to land on his feet and give everyone a good giggle!
This cheeky little chap takes great pride in learning how to be a big cat. He recently starting practicing his 'spit' to look tough - so don't tell him that it just makes him even cuter!
Like all Maggie's pets, Rùm is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I crave human company for both playtime and cuddles - I love falling asleep in my foster carers' arms! - so an affectionate and engaged home is a must. However, both of my foster parents go out to work every day and I'm purrfectly happy to entertain myself and play with my siblings.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I definitely squeeze more than my fair share of playtime into each day. But once I’m tired out, I love a good sleep on the sofa, on my cat tree or on a human's lap (preferably on my back like a baby)!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but I think I could be happy in a family home! Just FYI - I can get a bit boisterous when I'm excited, but I'm easily redirected to play with toys or my siblings.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore the other kitties in my foster home, so I'm likely to love living with another friendly cat or two!
I haven't met any dogs yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
