About Bounty
Bounty is a little champion of a puppy! He has a confident and outgoing personality who has a zest for life. Bounty is a very social puppy who loves to introduce himself to new people and is very quick to win them over as his new friends. This little guy loves to have fun and enjoys playing with his toys. Bounty loves a good game of tug of war and running around with his squeaky toys - he loves it even more if you join in the game with him! When all the fun times are done for the day, he loves to settle down for a chew of a treat and snuggle up next to you on the couch. Bounty is a great all rounder who will make a great addition to an active household who want a happy and intelligent puppy. We’ve previously adopted out his siblings who have now been DNA tested and come back as working breed mixes so Bounty is expected to be a nice medium sized dog when fully grown.
Bounty’s sociability extends to other dogs as well. He loves to meet new doggy friends out and about of any age or size. He is already a natural at reading the energy level of other dogs and matches his greetings to the other dog. Most of the time he says a polite hello and is initially submissive in nature before he tries to initiate play with some adorable play bows and puppy bounces. When Bounty finds someone to play with him, he loves a good rumble. He doesn’t yet know when to stop and take a break so his new owners should continue to interrupt playtime regularly and let him have some chill out time around other dogs as well. Bounty will need ongoing appropriate socialisation, preferably in the form of play dates with other known friendly dogs to keep him a social butterfly.
While in care, Bounty has shown us just what a smart boy he is. He has been learning to ‘wait’ before eating, sit and is practising how to walk nicely on a lead. Bounty is smashing his recall at the park. He loves to go off and explore new sights and smells but comes bounding back when you call him, excited for his reward. As with any puppy, Bounty will need owners who are committed to his ongoing training and exposure to new environments and experiences. He thrives off routine and direction, and has so much potential, so it would be great for someone who is keen to embark on the training journey to partner up with him. Bounty is crate trained and travels well in the car as well so will be a great dog to take along on adventures with you.
We are looking for a keen and active new family for Bounty who will maximise his potential and take him on lots of adventures. He would thrive off living with another active and playful dog who is already fully trained and can show him the ropes. Otherwise, Bounty can live as an only dog as long as his new owner has the time to put into his socialisation, physical activity and training. Being a working breed mix, he will need substantial daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life. Bounty should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He is young enough to learn to live with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance. Bounty is also friendly with children so would be suitable to live with dog savvy children with some adult guidance to help get through the puppy mouthing stage. This gorgeous boy is such a wonderful puppy who will be a joyful and fun companion for his new owners.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
