About Roxy imp 1963
Roxy is a love sponge; she treasures human contact and has a unique way of communicating her affection—when Roxy loves you, she will want to be in touch with you at all times! She sometimes barks for attention, not as a challenge but as a heartfelt plea for recognition. Time, gentle interaction, and a quiet environment will help bring out her endearing personality.
Roxy is a fast learner, her motivation being food rewards and praises. She might seem puzzled by toys now, but it's only a matter of time before she uncovers the joy of playful chases and fetch. Once she gains trust in her people, Roxy is the epitome of loyalty, forming strong bonds that stand the test of time.
While Roxy appreciates the calm ambiance of an adult household or one with older teenagers, she could also find companionship with another dog. She could easily be a wonderful sister to another gentle and understanding pooch. This is conditional on proper introductions and shared chemistry, of course. The new family that welcomes Roxy into their home should be ready to provide the consistency and reassurance she needs to boost her confidence.
