Raffi

Raffi is an adorable and charming three-year-old dog with a scruffy yet endearing appearance that adds to his overall appeal. His delightful and cheerful disposition makes him a joy to be around, and he is sure to bring happiness to anyone fortunate enough to have him in their life. Medium in size, Raffi is the perfect pooch for an active familyAlthough Raffi is chipped as a Wolfhound x DNA testes show him to be He is a med size Duck Retriever x with a scruffy and soft coat
In addition to his wonderful personality, Raffi has undergone some training, which has equipped him with a solid foundation of essential skills and commands.
Interaction with humans
Raffi is a social boy and enjoys human company. He enjoys being around his people so we are looking for a family that will include him in their daily living. He will happily laze around the home and is not an overly needy boy.
Raffi does get excited around young kids energy so is not suited to young kids but teens and up are fine
Interactions with other dogs
Raffi is dog social and was previously living with a female friend who he enjoyed playing with. He can get excited when meeting new dogs so his exuberance can be a bit much from some dogs. We always suggest slow introductions for all our dogs. Raffi has mixed with number of other dogs with no problems but can get a bit frustrated on lead but is easily disengaged. He would love a female friend of similar size and energy.
Inside the home
Raffi is calm in the home. He will happily chill on his mat inside or hang out one his doggy couch in the sun room. Raffi is fully toilet trained
Outside time
Raffi loves a bit of space to run and stretch his legs. He will bark at some noises just like any normal doggo but otherwise well behaved and independent able to self entertain or snooze the day away
Exercise and enrichment
Raffi loves running and has made the perfect running buddy. He is an active boy so a daily walk is a must
Raffi walks reasonably well on lead loves a sniff and exploring new places
Sleep
Raffi has been crate trained but will also be happy to sleep on his mat inside
He likes to sleep in too
Food
Raffi is not fussy with food and currently being fed on a high quality dry kibble
Obedience and training
Raffi has attended some group obedience training and walks reasonably well on a slip lead with minimal pulling. He knows his basics obedience commands sit,
drop, wait, place so he has some great foundation in place
Car travel
A great travel buddy, enjoys car rides
Hygiene
Raffi has a scruffy easy low maintenance coat. Fully toilet trained
Ideal home
Raffi is fine as an only dog or would love a female companion of similar size and energy
Raffi needs an active family who love the outdoors and taking him on adventures
If you are a runner well he’s the perfect companion
Raffi needs a home with a bit of space to stretch his legs.
A home that has had previous dogs experience with medium to large dogs
Kids from teens up as he gets a bit too excited around young children and their energy
