On Hold
About Harris - Located in Preston
Hey there, world! I'm Harris, and let's get one thing straight—I'm the reigning champion of snuggles. Move over, world, because I'm here to claim my title as the best, most snuggly boy in the universe. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it, right?
Now, when it comes to playtime, I'm no slouch. I love to dive into action, especially with my sisters. We wrestle, we tussle, and in the end, we all declare ourselves the bosses. It's a cat's life, you know, full of playful anarchy. But once the play marathon is over, there's nothing better than a snuggle puddle to recharge those kitty batteries.
Dream home scenario? Picture this: me, one or both of my sisters, and a ton of toys. The fun would be off the charts! But, I'm a big boy now, and I could totally handle being the solo star. Why, you ask? Well, that means I don't have to share my toys. Selfish? Maybe. Smart? Absolutely.
Now, let's talk about my superhero skills. I go by the name "Batman," and my duties include ankle protection during wrestling matches. Those ankles won't know what hit them! I'm also your trusty monster under the blanket investigator, the sous chef for dinner prep, and a lifeguard extraordinaire while you shower. I take my duties seriously, after all.
So, if you're in the market for a snuggle connoisseur, a playtime aficionado, and an all-around superhero, look no further. I'm here, ready to bring a dash of humor, a ton of love, and a sprinkle of chaos into your life. Let the adventures with Batman begin!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
