Meet Nala, the gentle giant with a heart as vast as her size! This sweet staghound cross is on the lookout for a loving home that will welcome her into their lives. Nala is a true sweetheart, and much of the hard work has already been done as she brings a gentle demeanor and good manners to the table.
Despite her large stature, Nala is fairly gentle in her interactions, making her a fantastic fit for families with children aged 8 and above (pending a successful meet). While she may get a bit playful when excited, her sweet nature shines through.
Nala does have a strong pull on the lead, so a home with sturdy individuals who can handle her size is recommended. Unfortunately, frail or elderly individuals may find this challenging.
This lovely girl is a social butterfly with her canine companions and would thrive in a home with a social and playful male dog. A meet-and-greet is essential to ensure compatibility.
When left alone, Nala appreciates having things to do to keep her mind and body active. Enrichment items like kongs, milk bottles, and ice blocks would be wonderful additions to her routine.
For Nala, a calm and quiet home with structure and routine is preferred.
