About Suki
Suki came into our care when she was trapped by a resident who doesn't like cats.
She had wondered on to her property to seek shelter on her front deck, only to be hosed with water and screamed at to go away, then trapped.
The council ranger collected her and brought her to us. His first words to me were "this is one of the most lovely cats I've ever met, she is an angel".
I decided there and then that we wouldn't be letting her go to the pound.
We kept her with us at the clinic and searched high and low for her owners, to no avail. We waited a month and no one came forward, surely someone was missing a cat as magical and wonderful as her.
Suki has been in foster care for a month and her carers are so impressed with how kind, sweet and gentle she is. Suki is such an easy cat; all she needs is a bit of love, a soft and safe place to snooze and her kibble to much on. She really is an angel and anyone who adopts this girl will be really, really lucky to have her.
She makes the most gorgeous chirpy trill sounds, and literally talks to you.
She has a stunning long haired tabby coat and a magnificent bushy tail.
Suki would make the most perfect companion.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
