About Nala
URGENT HOME NEEDED!
Nala (f/3y)
Current location: VIC / Mornington Peninsula
Sweet Nala needs to find new foster home ASAP
We recently busted Nala out of the pound and she is an absolute sweetheart and very affectionate!...
BUT
There is always a but... she is a 3y old full-on, highly energetic boxer girl who has no idea about her strength.
There is no aggression in her whatsoever, she just has her moments when she wants to play, play, play and play again and she will jump up and jump up and jump up and cannot settle. She just cannot help herself.
Nala is too strong for our current foster carer who is doing her best, but is at her limits. We have had to send Nala to the vet for some calming medication to give our foster carer some help until we can find someone else for Nala. Obviously we do not want Nala to be on medications for too long and we wouldn't have done it if there had another option.
We cannot stress enough that Nala is not aggressive, just very hyper and hopefully with some regular exercise this will settle eventually.
Do we have anybody who is active and can take Nala for walks/runs, teach her rules and boundaries? She definitely needs a boxer experienced owner who is in charge...but of course is happy to give cuddles but on your terms not Nala's.
