Pluto

If you met Pluto, we bet he'd be your favourite doggo, too! We're pretty sure there isn't a more loving and playful pup anywhere in the universe. This boy's zest for life is infectious, and he's ready to bound right into your heart!

Pluto is friendly with everyone he meets. Pluto has never met a stranger! To Pluto, every person he's ever met is a friend. He is so pleased to meet you that he wriggles his whole body. He loves to give kisses and have cuddles. He also loves being a good boy to earn treats! For example, when greeting new people, Pluto is learning to keep all four paws on the ground and channel his enthusiasm into loving gazes instead of jumping up. What a good boy!

Likewise, Pluto loves his fellow dogs. He likes to run and play at the dog park and is always happy to say hello to pups out on walks. He will happily play chase and would enjoy living with another happy-go-lucky dog in his new home. He's lived with a cat who put him in his place, so he could also be suitable for a household with a dog-confident feline who will stand their ground and won't run (we mentioned that Pluto likes chasing games).

Pluto has a few favourite kong and rope toys. He's a clever boy who throws them to catch and chase in the backyard. He's also mastered half of how fetch works. The 'no take only throw' meme really resonates with Pluto. He loves it when you throw the ball, and he's working on bringing it back.

When he's not playing or sunbaking in the backyard, Pluto loves to come inside and hang out with his family. He's spent most of his time outside, so he might need a little refresher course in toilet training, but an intelligent dog like Pluto, who responds well to positive reinforcement, will pick this up in no time!

Pluto loves car trips but can get a little carsick on long trips, although holding off on feeding his breakfast usually fixes this. He loves getting out and about on adventures with his people but isn't a fan of water. Give him a trip to the park over a breach swim any day. He even thinks the paddling pool in the backyard is just a giant water bowl. Why wouldn't anyone want to get all wet diving in!?!

Pluto's tail never stops wagging. His take on the world is one of wonder and excitement. It's impossible to hang out with him and not feel happy, too! So, if a lovable scamp is on your wishlist this holiday season, Pluto is the boy for you!
