Good day to you gentlefolk, I am Frankfurt the Hound, named for the venerable German city of Fra—— sorry what? I’m not named for Frankfurt the city? I’m named for Frankfurt the SAUSAGE? Because I’m a bit CHONKY?

Wow.

I mean, I may have a very good idea of “who ate all the pies”, and yes I admit I go in very hard at a smorgasbord, but who among us would not eat an entire roast chicken in a single sitting given the opportunity?

More of me to love, right?

Anyway, insults aside, my friends at Greysland report I am a very cool boy, friendly with other big dogs and polite with the small ones. Kids will need to be over 5 in case I accidentally sit on them, and you will probably need a pantry with solid doors unable to opened by a determined snoot. Does that sound like you?

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
