About Meeka
Meeka is a sociable 7 year old female kelpie cross who is a delight to have around.
She gets along well with other dogs and adores the company of people and lots of scratches and cuddles. She is happiest sitting by her humans feet.
Meeka is crate trained and is very polite with food and at feeding time. She doesn’t bark much and is generally an all around super girl. Meeka is still trying to lose some weight and is working on her loose leash walking, however as she is a clever girl this has been coming along nicely in care. Meeka also benefits from quiet time through the day.
Meeka would be a joy for someone who would like a single doggy who is already easy to work with or would be happy with another confident dog friend. Her new family must understand that as a working breed dog she will need daily mental and physical stimulation.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
