My name is Bellero, and I am looking for a forever home with someone who will understand my special needs.

I have a problem with my balance and my foster carers refer to me as their beautiful wobbly dog. I may have cerebellar hypoplasia possibly bought on by tetanus.

There is a dog called Matilda featured on The Asher Home website and you can see what she is like to understand my condition.

I am happy to stay at home by myself for the day and I am well behaved with no accidents. I would prefer if someone is home though so I can have some activity around me.

I would prefer a carpeted home which helps me get around easier. I sometimes need to be lifted over tiled areas at this stage but my confidence is building and I have started to walk over tiled surfaces. Stairs though are not for me.

I am able to go to the toilet by myself, so no problems there.

I love food and can eat any type with no issues and usually do not spill over the small bowl of water left for me.

I love having cuddles and will happily sit next to you on the couch. I also get excited when you return home and do an amazing dance from my bed and talk to you.

My foster carers take me for a walk in a pram they have and I love getting out seeing the sights. Many people stop and chat to us, while out and about so it’s a great way for us all to socialise.

I get on well with other dogs and try to play with them but it can be difficult when they start running around.

I am a little weary of strangers, so I like to bark at them to let them know I am here and not to step on me but once they pat me I become a great friend.

I travel well in the car and love to go out with you, in fact I just love to be with you.
