About Arishem 'Ari'
Meet the charming Arishem, affectionately known as 'Ari.' This sweet girl, approximately 3-4 years old, recently gave birth to a litter of kittens. Rescued alongside several stray and neglected cats from a hoarder's residence in Glenroy, a suburb in Melbourne's northern regions, Ari and her feline companions found refuge at Forever Friends Sanctuary in the Yarra Valley in late September.
Originally scheduled for desexing, Arishem surprised everyone when it was discovered that she had already given birth that morning. Quick to respond, volunteers from FFAR moved her to a foster carer's home, where she safely welcomed two more kittens within the next 12 hours, although sadly, one was stillborn.
Arishem is a delightful female cat with a personality as charming as her name. She has found a loving home with her foster carer and two canine foster siblings, forming an unexpected but harmonious furry family. Arishem has seamlessly integrated into the household, establishing a strong bond with her canine companions. When night falls, she claims her spot on the bed, curling up comfortably in the warmth of her human's presence. Arishem's playful side shines during the day as she enthusiastically chases flies, displaying her nimble agility and keen hunting instincts. Known for her adorable and hilarious zoomies, she transforms into a whirlwind of energy, bringing joy and laughter to the household. Arishem's endearing qualities make her a cherished member of the family, proving that love and companionship know no species boundaries.
Arishem's foster carer is eager to find her a permanent home where she can fully enjoy life without the demands of raising three little ones. She is well-nourished, fully toilet trained, and ready for a new chapter in her life.
Ideally, Arishem would thrive in a home with children who understand cues and boundaries. She is seeking humans who can keep her mentally stimulated. Her foster carer believes she will easily adapt to a new home.
Ari will be provided fully vaccinated, desexed to prevent future pregnancies, and microchipped. Additionally, she can be adopted alongside one of her three kittens. Arishem will be able to join her forever home in mid to late December.
If you believe Ari would be a great addition to your home, please send an Expression of Interest, and her foster carer will be in touch with you.
