About Dora
Meet Dora, a dog who belongs to the Cavalier breed well-known for their gentle and friendly nature. Her gentle demeanor is engaging, and you'll find her to be the perfect companion to share quiet moments with.
In her interactions with other dogs, Dora is both lovely and gentle. She's definitely the kind of dog who would enjoy the company of another furry companion in her new family. Despite initially being shy, Dora has been warming up, opening her heart to the simple pleasures of a gentle walk. She's growing increasingly comfortable and confident while being on the lead.
When indoors, Dora shows a preference for cuddles on the lounge, proving herself to be an excellent companion in quieter houses. Her quiet nature shines and she isn't much of a barker. Due to this calm demeanor, Dora would suit apartment living well, as long as she has access to both indoor and the outdoors.
Dora's ideal lifestyle is one where she can bask in the quiet of life, enjoying daily routines like short, leisurely walks, garden time, and a fair serving of snoozing time interspersed between activities. With this kind of environment, Dora is sure to flourish, unfolding a journey of companionship with unmatched gentleness.
Dora is known to get along with dogs of all sizes, and she wouldn't mind sharing her space with cats or quiet, gentle children. With Dora, you're not just adopting a pet; you're adding a gentle and sweet-natured friend to your family. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share the quiet moments and the little joys of life, Dora is waiting to meet you!
Medical notes
Dora had severe dental disease and has had 18 teeth removed on coming into care but she can eat kibble mixed with soft food and can even chew a greenie so she is easy to feed.
Like nearly all mature cavaliers she has a grade 3 heart murmur and will require cardisure 2.5mg (half twice a day) for life and ongoing monitoring of her heart. She comes with a prescription for her meds and your vet can get access to her recent heart ultrasound.
Dora has been clipped short for the summer and is ready to adopt.
