About Bonnie STA011570
Meet Bonnie, a captivating young lady whose curiosity and incredible potential for companionship makes her truly special. Bonnie is a lovely lady who thrives in a calm, serene environment where she has the freedom to indulge in her curiosity. She is extremely observant and has a keen interest in everything around her, albeit from a comfortable distance.
Bonnie's ideal home would already be home to a confident and good-natured feline. She has a preference for the company of other felines, learning from them that humans can be trusted friends. Bonnie's new family must understand her need for a peaceful atmosphere without young children or canines.
As she opens up, you'll see a wonderful process of transformation as she slowly learns to embrace her friendly and playful side. She may need more time to adjust to new surroundings and situations, but with love and patience, Bonnie has the potential to become a devoted and heartwarming member of your family.
Bonnie treasures her leisure time in a cosy corner where she can retreat and feel secure. With a slowly growing trust, she will gravitate towards her human for gentle strokes and soft-spoken words. Every day with Bonnie is a step closer to the sweet, trusting lady she will eventually become with just a little bit of your time and patience.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
