About Holly
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Holly is a very sweet and gentle poodle who, on first meeting, can appear to be a little timid but she warms up very quickly once she realizes that there is love and cuddles on offer. Holly loves being around people enjoying gentle tummy rubs and soon stretches out to enjoy having her whole body rubbed. Holly is not an overly active dog but does love playing with her own special toy penguin and having 'chasies' with her foster mum. Holly gets along well with cats and the other dogs in her foster home. She is learning to walk on the lead but will need lots of practice and confidence building to make her feel safe and secure out of her environment. Holly is a very bright dog being a poodle and mastered the doggy door within an hour of arriving at her foster carers home so has not had a single accident. She doesn't dig, only barks if someone comes to the front door and is not a fussy eater either. Holly will not suit a home where her owners are out at work everyday and must be rehomed with another dog similar in size to her for company as she will fret if an only dog. A family with children over 12 years of age is suitable as small noisy children will make her nervous. Holly has a high maintenance coat and will require regular grooming and clipping to keep her looking lovely. Holly is a house dog and must always have access to the house via a doggy door or similar. Holly comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on holly or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 3 march
