Hi my name is Barton and I love chew toys, walks, snuggles and playing with my foster sibling staffies. I am a happy, gentle, clumsy young fella with a lot of love to give.
When I came into foster care I was very shy with people and I'm still super timid when meeting new people. I will need someone patient and understanding of this uncertainty. Once I learn to trust you, the love and friendship I have to offer is very special.

I am house trained and very good with basic commands. I am a joy to walk and happy to stroll along wherever you want to go. I do not react to other dogs on walks. I do love a sniff.

I am very talkative and will sometimes tell you about my day when you arrive home.

I travel well in the car.

I like to play and cuddle with my foster sibling staffies, and would be good with other dogs, but this is not a must.

I am very gentle and would fit in well to a family with children.

I have a lot of love and snuggles to give and my foster parents say I'm an absolute joy. They really want to keep me but I need to move on to my forever home so they can rescue the next dog in need.
