About Romeo
Meet Romeo, the ginger kitten who's already stolen our hearts with his playful, cuddly nature and endless purrs, and he’s sure to steal yours too. Romeo’s love for life is absolutely infectious!
This little ginger dynamo may be small, but he is already a powerhouse when it comes to fun. He can spend hours happily chasing a toy mouse, a ball of yarn, or his own tail only to trip, scramble up and go again! When he's not being the life of the party, he's climbing his beloved cat tree or seeking out warm laps for cuddly lockdowns. He's an enthusiastic purring machine, and those purrs get louder every time he cuddles up to you.
In our care, Romeo has shown that he's a deft social networker who makes friends quite easily. He's been living and playing with cats of various personalities and sizes and seems to enjoy some boisterous playtime with them, though he's equally happy to sit down and groom his feline friends.
Romeo has a soft spot for dogs and will often smooch with the resident dog, which makes us believe that he could comfortably join a home with an existing canine friend.
In short, Romeo has all the potential to offer boundless joy to his future family. This ginger bundle of happiness and energy is all set to find his new family, and we’re sure that whoever takes him home will be rewarded with endless laughter, cuddles and company! We have a feeling he's going to make one special family extremely happy.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
