About George
This sweet little man is George, a Domestic Short Hair born 2nd October 2023.
George was brought in to us with his siblings as 3 week old orphans. We were told by a vet that it's very possible that all three boys will become blind as they grow & to just euthanise them. This was not an option for us. Whether they can see or not, they are healthy and happy kittens who deserve a chance at a beautiful life. Hugo, George & Licorice are all cross-eyed but they can currently see. We are unsure if they can see clearly or if it's mostly shadows, but we know not a toy goes past them without a pounce & play.
George loves toys & being around other cats. He has been socialised with other kittens at the facility & they all get along very well.
George would be suitable to live with other cats or to be the spoilt "only child" in the home.
George will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
George is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for George, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $300 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
George is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
George has Eyelid Agenesis & may need surgery when he is fully grown
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
