About Barley
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Barley is a sassy Ragdoll who enjoys catching up on the latest events with her human! She can be quite talkative, but only if you have a great topic for conversation :)
She's also completely chill - loving to lounge on top of (or under) couches and stretching out her snowy-white arms and legs. She's a huge fan of massages and will let you know by purring and rubbing her body all over you!
When she’s not being an affectionate sweetheart, she loves to prank her human by playing hide-and-seek ( don't stress too much if you can't find her for hours!), and adores hunting her string toys.
That being said, Barley is pretty low-energy and loves to enjoy a life of relaxation. If she sounds like your kind of companion, drop her a message and let’s have a chat!
Like all Maggie's pets, Barley is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a special someone (or someones) who'll show me the good life! A calm, low-key sort of environment to match my chill vibe would be amazing.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a very relaxed older girl with my days of playing hard well behind me! - though occasionally I'll surprise you with a kittenish burst of activity :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children since arriving in foster care, but being so friendly with adults, I'm likely to be the same with kids. I'm mature and very wise, so gentle children will suit me best!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Unknown at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
