About Tilly
Hi! My names Tilly, but you can call me Silly Tilly.
I’m everything you’d expect in a young border collie girl - playful, quick, friendly, intelligent, smoochy and a little kooky.
I’m very food motivated which makes me a quick learner. I know my basics and am working on my crate training. I am amazing in the car and I have the most gentle mouth, taking treats and eating my dinner with the best of manners.
One thing about me is that I’m partially deaf. It doesn’t affect me much day to day, but I do get some seriously deep zzzZzs because of it. Surprisingly my recall isn’t too shabby despite this, and I love to bound back to my foster mum with speed, unless of course something else is more interesting.
I’m a smoochy girl who loves to be near her humans and loves a cuddle. I’ve also grown up around other dogs and would need another doggy sibling in my new home. I've also been pretty friendly with a feline friend in the past. I’ll really take any attention I can get!
I’ve had a lot of changes recently, and so I am suffering from a little separation anxiety, however we expect this will improve as I learn to settle in my new life and once I have a doggy sibling to keep me company. I would still prefer a home where someone is home more often than not, regardless.
In typical collie fashion, I’m an expect herder (or I think I am). I do show some interest in a ball or toy, but there’s much more fun in chasing the other dog chasing the toy. Because of these instincts, I’d need someone experienced with working breeds, and particularly those with some drive. I’m a relatively resilient dog, however I do get spooked by new or strange things, and will need to be continually socialised and desensitised to the world around me, including traffic, passing dogs, and strange inanimate objects that look at me the wrong way.
If you’ve got the time, effort and knowledge for a very sweet, smoochy, driven little dog, then I’m your girl! Apply now!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
