The god of the sky and thunder, king of all other gods and men, striking fear in all who oppose him… well no, this Zeus is nothing like that!  

This Zeus is a bouncy ball, loving, playful, snuggly and licking anyone into the after-life, if only they would hang around long enough!

Don’t let the ‘big’ name fool you, Zeus is a super friendly boy that will ensure you are never alone.  He loves people, other dogs and yes even the cats.  He ‘boops’ everyone to play, although the cats would far rather be sleeping.   The only thing Zeus loves more than playing and sleeping is eating.  When dinner time comes around and he hears the tell-tale sound of the kibble tin being moved, he will serenade you till the bowl is on the ground.  But that doesn’t mean he forgets his manners.  He will impress you with his impeccable manners and sit and wait till you tell him it’s time to eat.

Zeus does everything at either 100km/p or zero and very little in between.  He plays hard, loves to run, and then sleeps equally hard. He adores sleeping on your lap and would love nothing better that snuggling up with you under a blanket. He loves chewing on his toys and absolutely loves a good dog cookie or two.  

Zeus has been fostered in a home with 4 other dachshunds and his foster carers work from home, so Zeus will need companionship of a dachshund or 2 and definitive a human around most of the time.

Zeus is an awesome dog with a wonderful personality that would do well with any household with loads of love and fun, and of course, food.  :D
