About Miss Piggy
Introducing Miss Piggy!
Miss Piggy is a Staffy x (possibly Kelpie) born 23rd November 2021.
Miss Piggy was brought in to us as a stray during our quarantine lockdown. We were able to find her owner, however it was very clear that they weren't able to look after her, so she was surrendered to us. Miss Piggy was incredibly timid when she first came in, to the point where she had to be carried into the facility by staff. She was so shut down that we were going to call her Shyla. This all changed once we found out her name. As soon as she heard us ask if she was Miss Piggy she completely lit up & turned into a little wiggle monster. Her name is absolutely fitting to her as she devours everything that's put in front of her withing seconds.
Miss Piggy did previously live with another dog, however she hasn't tested well with them since she's been with us. This could be a reaction to being locked in her kennel for over 5 weeks during quarantine & stress sinking in.
Miss Piggy appears to have some prey drive, so we are recommending she be the only animal at home.
Miss Piggy is a very affectionate & sweet girl who loves human attention. She loves cuddles, kisses & obviously lots of treats!
She is very clean in her kennel, so she may be house trained or at least most of the way there.
Miss Piggy is quite an energetic girl & she is quite smart, so she will need an owner who will keep her mind & body busy!
Miss Piggy's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Miss Piggy is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
