Meet Kobe (F/6Yrs) – location: Melbourne, VIC.
Kobe is very gentle, loyal, classic goofy boxer, who loves to cuddle and the best part is she loves a sleep in! She is happy to sleep in her crate at night and will even put herself to bed but she is just as happy on the couch and will probably end up on there!
She loves going in the car, isn’t an escape artist, jumper or digger. Her favourite games are playing with her toys, tug-a-war, and she just loves being chased.
Kobe knows basic commands, sit, stay, drop, leave it, spin, gentle and bed, has impeccable house manners and is crated trained. She hasn’t had any experience with kids so a home with older or no children would be ideal.
Unfortunately Kobe's negative experiences other dogs in boarding kennels and doggy day care have made her a bit cautious around other dogs, resulting in reactive behaviour. Therefore, an experienced Boxer owner is essential for her continued positive development. Although she walks well on a lead, she may display reactivity in the presence of other dogs.
For now, Kobe needs to be the ONLY DOG but could potentially enjoy the company of a playmate through a gradual and careful introduction.
Surprisingly, she is CAT FRIENDLY, having peacefully coexisted with two cats!
Kobe is a special girl with heaps of potential. All she needs is a patient and loving family willing to invest time, attention, and some training so she can be her best self.
If you're an experienced boxer owner ready to open your heart and home to Kobe, she's waiting for you!
