About Gunner
Hi, my name is Gunner. I am a two and half year old black and tan kelpie and I am a beautiful boy!
I have the most glossy, soft coat and I don’t mind having a bath to keep it nice and clean. I travel great in my crate in the car and car rides mean adventures and I love adventures! I also sleep in my crate overnight and am toilet trained as well.
I love playing with the foster sister! We have so much fun playing tug of war, fetch and zoomies! I am friendly with other dogs but most of all, love my humans. I will do anything to please you. I love to snuggle up next to you and enjoy all the pats and cuddles you can give.
I already know my name and will bound up to you when you call me. I love to learn new tricks and have already learnt so many! I am practicing not jumping when saying hello as I do get a little excited at times.
I need a family who has experience with working dogs and who can help me channel my intelligence and enthusiasm. I would like you to be home most of the time or have another doggy friend for me to spend my days with. I would be fine in a household with children, but they should be older and confident with dogs, and I’m not suited to a home with pocket pets.
I am a beautiful dog in looks and nature, with so much to offer and I can’t wait to meet you. Love and licks, Gunner!
Gunner is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
