About Poppy
Meet Poppy, a loyal and fun 3-year-old Kelpie and rising soccer star with dreams of joining the Matildas!
Poppy is crate and house trained. She has mastered basic commands, responding promptly to sit, shake, and patiently awaiting meals. She is a delight at night and is happy to sleep soundly in her crate outside or snuggle inside.
Poppy is good and caring with kids all ages. Given her playful nature, she’s best suited for children aged 10 and older.
Poppy's been practicing her recall and has made big improvements, with a bit more training she’ll ace it soon. She's learning to chill in the car, and loves to go on adventures but also knows how to switch off at home.
Although Poppy loves playing with her doggy friends when out and about, she would thrive best in a single-dog household as she prefers not to share her food with other dogs (not people). If you can commit to consistent training and providing regular exercise, Poppy promises to be a loyal and loving addition to your home.
If you're ready to welcome an affectionate companion into your life, don't wait—submit your application today and let the love flow!
Poppy is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
