About Digger

Meet Digger, a charming Staffy mix with a heart full of love and a disposition as sunny as his personality. This handsome boy relishes in showing affection and receiving nothing but love in return, always making your day brighter.

Digger is the epitome of a family dog. Friendly with humans of all ages, he's incredibly intelligent and polite. Digger behaves indoors and enjoys a civilised dining routine where he snacks on and off during the day, never gulping down meals with haste. He commands a variety of tricks, like sitting on command, but his favourite pastime might be following you around as you go about your day. It's like a shadow you didn't know you needed.

Adequately described as a lap dog who occasionally forgets his size, Digger enjoys cuddle times above everything else. He is a lively boy who might jump for joy upon meeting new friends, but on a leash, he tends to pull a bit. And while he might demonstrate his fondness for shoes and furniture occasionally, a firm "no" puts him right back on track. A good collection of chew toys would be an excellent addition for his indoor entertainment.

Digger is a gentle giant with a trait of calm serenity. He quiets down nicely indoors and can be easily directed to his favorite place—his blanket in the lounge. He's keen to stay active and gets excited about his walks, displaying an inquisitive nature that keeps him alert and sprightly.

Keeping food manners a priority, Digger will sit smartly when asked, and expectantly waits for treats, all the while maintaining patience and politeness. He's the ideal dinner companion who would rest at your feet in hope of sharing your meal, without ever trying to steal it.

Digger's new family should ideally have a secure yard with 6 ft fences. As he softly climbs the ladder of trust in his new space, he would appreciate someone being around him during the initial stages of his adoption. Please note, Digger does not gel well with cats or livestock, and potential adopters should consider this before applying.

Digger will surely be a delightful addition to a family that cherishes a loyal, loving, and intelligent canine companion. His eagerness to please, coupled with his overall composure, makes him the perfect companion for an active household. Who wouldn't want to add this beautiful boy to their family?
