Tequila

Are you ready to fall in love? You had better be as it is very hard not to fall in love with Tequila! This little girl is just so so sweet. Tequila is a true companion who just loves to be by your side. Whenever you turn around, she is there looking up at you with her big shiny eyes. Her favourite place is curled up on the couch right next to you, often resting her head on a cushion. Tequila has a very gentle and loving nature. When you talk to her, it makes her little tail wiggle away in reply. If Tequila wants your attention or to come up on your lap then she stands up against your knee and gives you the cutest little paw – it is very hard to resist!

Tequila is very good with all the other animals in her foster home. She is living with 4 other dogs of varying sizes and ages, and a dog friendly cat. Her easy-going nature enabled her to slot in with everyone with ease. Ultimately, she is more focused on her people. When meeting new people, she can be a little shy and needs a little bit of time to warm up. She would be best suited to a quieter adult only home with owners who are able to advocate for her and ensure she can make new friends in her own time.

When out and about, Tequila is pretty relaxed. She walks nicely on the lead and enjoys going for a nice daily walk where she can sniff all the new smells around. At home, she will need further work on her toilet training. She has made progress in her foster home when taken outside regularly; however, she hates going outside in the rain and would probably do best given a puppy pad or artificial toilet inside to help prevent accidents on rugs. Her new owner will need to be patient and persistent with this training. At night, Tequila sleeps throughout the night in her crate but we all know she would love to be snuggled up on the bed with you! She travels well in the car and enjoys accompanying her foster carer on little trips and to run errands.

We are looking for a loving new home for Tequila where she will be a part of the family. She can live with other friendly pets without an issue. Tequila will be happiest in a home where someone is home more often than not, and she would make a wonderful working from home colleague. This little girl is just 3.4kg and must be allowed inside the home to be with her people. She will also need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. Tequila is going to make a wonderful little companion for her new owners and bring a lot of sunshine and happiness to her new home with her sweet nature.
