About Kobe
Hi there, my name is Kobe, but you can call me your new best friend. If you're looking for a loyal companion to be by your side always, then I am the boy for you!
I came to BVAR after spending 5 months in the pound. Yes, you read that correctly - five months. As you can imagine, this took it's toll on me in various ways, but I am still the most smiley, loving and well behaved boy you could ever meet.
My current foster home is perfect for me, and I hope to find a home similar. My foster ma works from home, so I get to spend my days inside with her. Which is excellent for me because I have a little bit of anxiety when left alone or left outside, and I can jump fencces with ease. Lucky for foster ma, I am the perfect house guest - I am not destructive at all, am toilet trained and extremely content with being inside.
I love my teddies and will often take my froggy or crocodile toys outside on adventures with me. Trust me when I say I will melt your heart when you watch me do this, it's simply adorable.
I am great as an only dog, in fact, that's my preferred way to live. However, I have previously lived with dogs and could again, as long as we had the correct introductions and my new canine companion is well socialised and respects my space.
I am not at all good with cats, chickens or pocket pets. I am best to be kept far, far away.
I have impeccable manners and know how to sit, am working on walking on a leash and have been crate trained somewhat successfully.
A section of my tail had to be amputated as a result of my time in the pound. I have also unfortunately suffered untreated ear infections my entire life. BVAR are now on top of this and I just require daily drops - which is cheap and easy method to keep me happy and healthy.
I am a very special boy, in desperate need of a very special home that suits my needs. I am simply gorgeous inside and out, and after all I have been through, really deserve this second chance at a beautiful life.
Medical notes
Kobe has no eardrums and has suffered from chronic ear infections his entire life that were never treated. This has now been treated since he has been in care and will require ongoing maintenance to keep him happy and healthy.
Kobe has also had part of his tail removed due to 'happy tail'
