About Jessie
Meet Jessie, a Beagle Staffy mix who is the sweetest girl.
She has been in care for several months with her dedicated carer.
Sadly, Jessie has experienced trauma in her past so needs a quiet home with another dog (a placid, male) as she copes a lot better with another dog to walk with & sit near.
Jessie loves her backyard & looves her toys.
She is fine when left alone while you go to work, not destructive.
We have started her on a small dose of Zactin just to help her cope better with the scary world 🌎.
Jessie is not suited with cats and must have 5ft (1.5m) fences & a safe backyard.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
