NOTE: You are unable to meet Doug until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Doug in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Though I am small I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, but I would also be happy to have my family to myself
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction, I appear more afriad of them then anything
• I like both friendly male and female dogs as long as they are small like me. I Dont like big dogs, they are scary.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent with no holes or gaps that I could squeeze through)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a clever and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• I appear to be ok with pocket pets, they are scary so I leave them alone.
• I have previously lived with kids

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Love to sit on your lap
• I can sit
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered boy
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly small dogs
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• I LOVE toys and playing fetch
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I may not be completely house trained
