About Scarlett - Located in Patterson Lakes
Hello, wonderful world! I'm Scarlett, the proud owner of the fluffiest tail in the neighborhood. Seriously, it's like having a majestic feather duster attached to my backside.
I'm the more reserved half of the dynamic duo with my sis Willow. While she's out there stealing the spotlight, I prefer the quiet life, you know? A serene home with my sister or a chill feline friend sounds like the purr-fect setup for me. It's not that I don't like company—I just appreciate it in small, cozy doses.
Back and belly rubs? Oh, you bet! I'm a connoisseur of the gentle touch, and I'll gladly accept those love pats. I might keep to myself a bit, but I'm a softie at heart. Treats? Well, let's just say they're the key to unlocking my heart. I may be a bit reserved with new faces, but time and treats have a magical way of turning me into a confident, treat-loving kitty.
Lap stays? Not my favorite pastime, I admit. I've got places to explore, things to do, you know? But hey, with a bit of patience and maybe a treat or two, who knows? I might just become the lapcat champion of the century.
I'm not one to come running when you call—I've got this mysterious aura to maintain. You'll have to do the fetching, but once you've got me, I'm all in for some quality attention time. And yeah, I might wander off eventually, but it's just because I'm a busy girl, indulging in important cat business.
So, if you're up for a gentle, fluffy companion who appreciates the finer things in life, like quiet moments and a good belly rub, I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's make our own little haven of fluff and love. 🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
