About Solstice 11109
Are you ready to welcome a charming and confident feline friend into your home? Look no further than Solstice, the epitome of feline charisma and warmth! Solstice is the ideal match for both first-time cat owners and experienced cat enthusiasts alike.
Solstice thrives in the comfort of indoor living. Her confidence shines through, but with great confidence comes the possibility of wandering off. We believe an indoor-only lifestyle is the key to ensuring her safety and happiness. However she would be a great candidate for a catio/cat park as well.
Solstice is open to meeting kids aged 5 years and up, making her the perfect addition to families, singles, or couples. Whether your home is a bustling hub of activity or a serene haven, Solstice fits right in. She adapts effortlessly to different environments, proving to be the ideal companion for any lifestyle.
While Solstice loves human company, she is showing interest in the dogs we have in care also. She could possibly be open to meeting/living with dogs but it would be up to the new owner’s discretion.
Solstice has shown interest in meeting other cats as well. If you already have feline family members, a slow and patient introduction is key to fostering positive relationships.
Solstice boasts low energy needs, making her the perfect cat for those who prefer a laid-back companion. She's easy-going, not interested in causing mischief around the house, but she'll gladly sit beside you and share the highlights of her day.
Solstice is not a picky eater! She'll happily devour anything and everything you serve her way. Mealtime becomes a joyous occasion as she becomes delightfully chatty, showcasing her love for food.
Solstice loves being picked up and adores head and tail pats. Her purring abilities are second to none, and she'll happily purr away like a well-oiled machine when showered with affection.
Solstice is a social butterfly! Her easy-going nature extends to her comfort around strangers, making her an excellent companion for gatherings and social events.
If you're seeking a feline friend who can effortlessly integrate into your life and bring joy to your home, Solstice is the purrfect choice.
Post-Adoption Life:With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
