About Macey
Meet Macey, a charming pup with irresistible puppy eyes. Born from a German Shepherd mother, there's a high probability that Macey is a purebred German Shepherd. With a lineage like that, you can anticipate a dog with a delightful blend of loyalty, charm, intelligence, and sheer cuteness.
Macey is still in her puppyhood, full of boundless energy and endless wonder. As a breed, German Shepherds are known for their intelligence and versatility, and Macey is no exception. She has an inquisitive nature and is always eager to learn and explore his environment.
German Shepherds are renowned for their affable nature, and this trait is strongly evident in Macey. She is an endearingly social animal with a natural desire to please her humans. With adequate care, training, and cuddles, Macey is sure to mature into a strong, loyal, and lovable adult dog who will light up your home with her playful antics and devotion.
Are you ready to embark on countless adventures and create endless memories with an energetic, devoted, and loving canine companion? If so, Macey is the perfect pup for you. She's eagerly looking forward to finding her loving new family.
Background on Macey's mum:
Her underweight and heavily pregnant mum 'Lucky' was found wandering the streets of Sydney as a stray and never claimed by an owner. German Shepherd Rescue NSW took her into immediate care. One of our amazing foster carers whelped her puppies, all 6 of them. They have been well handled and socialised with small dogs. Their beautiful mothers impeccable temperament is shining through in her puppies.
Macey will be 8 weeks old on 10 December 2023 and ready to go to her forever family.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Macey. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to South Tamworth or helping us to rehome from your home.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
