About Luna - Located in Preston
Hello, wonderful humans! I'm Luna, and let me tell you, life has taken a magical turn since I found this amazing family that opened their hearts and doors to me and my adorable kittens. Indoor living? Count me in!
You know, I used to be quite the explorer, venturing through suburbia, looking for my next meal and a cozy spot to rest. But fate had something special in store for me. When I arrived at this lovely family's doorstep with my little fluffballs, they welcomed us with open arms. It was like stepping into a fairy tale where love and kindness abound.
Now, I'm living the indoor life, and let me tell you, it's a dream come true. There's a bowl that magically fills with yummy food, and I can't help but purr my gratitude loudly. Mealtime is a symphony of happiness for me!
And let's talk about the humans—I've discovered this delightful habit of theirs called "smooches." When I want some extra love, I just gently rub against their legs, and voilà! The smooches begin. It's heartwarming to feel their affection, and I reciprocate with purrs and nuzzles.
I may not have mastered the art of sitting on laps just yet, but hey, patience is a virtue, right? I'm a gentle, young lady who doesn't mind being handled and carried, and I even aced my vet visit. The vet said I was a purrfect patient! Go me!
Now, about my feline friends—I've been fostering with a senior lady cat, and while we haven't quite clicked, I think I'd do great with a younger feline companion or even a playful kitten. Dogs are still a mystery to me, though. Maybe someone can teach me the ropes?
I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can continue to learn the ropes of being a cherished indoor cat. If you're ready for a purrfect companion, look no further. I'm here, waiting to fill your life with love and warmth. Let's create our own happily ever after, shall we? 🌙💕

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
