NAME: Kennon

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound with his siblings.

PERSONALITY: Affectionate and funny once he's comfortable in his surroundings. He loves to follow his person around and sit on their feet. He will come up for pats and cuddles a lot and sleeps with his person on their bed. He's quick to purr and loves attention.

FAVOURITE THINGS: Kennon loves his food and enjoys playtime. His favourite toy is a feather wand which he drags around like it's a mouse. He also likes to play with shoes, he will pick them up and carry them around then rub himself over them. He's loving the Christmas tree at the moment and is taking great delight in getting the baubles off and batting them around on the floor.

OTHER ANIMALS: Kennon gets on well with other friendly cats after gentle introduction. He could possibly live with a cat-savvy, friendly dog after gentle, supervised introductions.

ESSENTIALS for Kennon:

** A loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go well with older, cat-savvy, gentle children who will play and engage with him on a daily basis.

** Kennon needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $385

Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
