Hiya everyone, my name is Slate! My four brothers and I make up the Black Beauties litter... and I'm a smoochy little lovebug! We were on our way to a Central Queensland pound, but Lady Luck and SCA were on our side – and we were picked up JUST in time! We didn't let the scariness of the long road trip stop us from showing just how wonderful we are! I've been absolutely thriving since being in care, as it means I am in a safe and loving environment 💗
I'm a super snuggly, incredibly loving little guy. I'm always keen for attention and will happily lay back in your arms for belly rubs. My foster mum says I'm a brave and bouncy boy, and she loves that I stay perfectly still when I get picked up for cuddles. That's because I adore her as much as I adore my cuddles!
Cats and dogs can be my pals too! I can be pretty playful like any other kitten and love playing with toys and wrestling with other cats. I'm fond of my doggo foster brothers so I'm sure that with proper introductions I'd get along with your polite pooch if you have one!
I eat well for a growing kitten and will politely (yet loudly!) let you know when it's dinner time. I'm the type of cat whose main love and primary motivator is receiving attention, so I'll finish our cuddle before I wander over to the food bowl. I've been litter trained and am quite a tidy boy with it too. I have seen the vet, passed all my health checks, been desexed and microchipped, and now I'm ready for adoption!

Medical notes
Due to the national vaccine shortage, I have not yet been vaccinated against the core feline diseases. SCA will arrange for my vaccinations to be completed at one of their vet partners when supplies are received back into the country. This is expected to be mid-Jan 2024.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.
All of our cats will be sent to their furever homes fully vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, parasite free and ready to become part of your family!
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS - when applying to adopt our cats, we expect that they will be kept as indoor cats only and/or have a suitable outdoor enclosure.
