About Jess
Hello, I’m Jess and my number one favourite thing to do is cuddle with people! I will also get up and follow my fave people if they are moving around the house or garden. Always! Everytime! I've been told that my devotion is legendary!
I adore going for walks, but I appreciate being kept on a leash for now. All my basic training is quite new to me so I have a ways to go before my recall skills are firmly established. I’m quite happy to share a home with a male desexed dog, after all humans do have 2 hands for pats. Cats are okay; I just ignore them and avoid them if they don’t want to be friends, and I don’t mind kids either at all if they’re gentle.
I’ve been trained to sleep in a crate at night, so if you want, I can keep doing that. Or, cuddles in bed would be fabulous if you didn't mind my company there too. Oh, um… I AM toilet trained, BUT it takes me a while to learn where to toilet in a new house, so you’ll need to be a bit patient with me while helping me to settle in. I do rather rock at negotiating a doggy door though so if you have one of those I would be a very happy camper.
Well, that’s me in a petite nutshell! I look forward to meeting you!
(P.S. If you do want to enquire about adopting me, it helps if you include lots of details about the household I’d be living in.)
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ and ‘adoption details’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption. *
Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
