About Ralph -1yo Mini Dachshund (On Trial 3/12/23)
Ralph the 1 year old Miniature Dachshund is looking for a forever home.
Ralph is a stunning red smooth boy who has found himself needing a new home where his owners are home more often than not. He loves going on walks, although like most Dachshunds he tends to bark at unfamiliar people and dogs.
He has lived with other dogs and like most dachshunds prefers his own breed. He would benefit from living with another dog to play with and for comfort and security. He’s not a huge barker but will alert you to strangers at the door or sudden loud noises.
Ralph needs a calm home where he can feel safe and secure with someone who can devote the time to training him. He displays some reactivity on walks, however he has started training in foster care to help this and will need continued training.
He would be best suited to a home where the owner is around most of the day, with a garden to explore. He’s a typical Dachshund who loves company, he will constantly be by your side or on your lap. The perfect work from home colleague.
Ralph prefers human beds to his own, and he likes to be the little spoon.
He is fully toilet trained and needs to be allowed inside to be with you.
If you think you can give this gorgeous boy the perfect forever home where he is loved to bits, please fill in his adoption application or email his foster carer to find out more drnfoster.lori@gmail.com
Ralph is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW, and is available for adoption to NSW and ACT only. His adoption fee is $800 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
