About Burger
This little man is gorgeous, cheeky and affectionate and is sure to steal your heart... just look at those eyes!
He has a lot of puppy energy who's very much in his sharknado era, so needs lots of toys and treats to keep him busy. He loves playing with his foster sister...a lot! Is learning how to walk on the lead and getting better all the time. Burger is very food motivated and is nailing sitting on command and he is getting better at not jumping up, continued training is a must so he can continue to learn how to be the best boy he can be. He is pretty much fully toilet trained and usually goes in the same place, did somebody say baby genius ;) He wakes up early but sleeps through the night as well as taking plenty of naps during the day.
MY IDEAL HOME: My ideal home will be full of activity, love and patience. With clear boundaries and ongoing training I will be the best addition to any family. I need to be allowed inside and out as I love to play in the yard and lay about on the couch, I love to be wherever the action is. Because I am young I shouldn't be left alone too long so someone home more often than not would be best.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have lots of puppy energy!! Currently need lots of active playtime and stimulation and if there is a resident dog they will need to be up for a bit of rough and tumble dog play. I sleep in a pen and am getting used to having time out in there when I get a bit overtired in the day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: If there are kids in the home they will need to be older and dog savvy as my play is energetic and I would hate to knock them over!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love my foster sister (a medium sized mix breed)..sometimes my playing is a bit much for her so if there is a resident dog then they need to be prepared for life with a puppy. I am curious and happy to meet other dogs. Not tested with cats but with a slow intro I believe I could adjust to a feline friend.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
