About Bast
*In foster care in Westmead, Sydney*
Bast is a curious and cuddly girl! She likes to slowly and carefully explore, endlessly inquisitive and questioning - but when it's time to wind down she's always up for a smooch, sometimes slinging herself across you in exhaustion from her big day of answering life’s questions!
A natural observer, Bast prefers to suss out new situations before jumping in - but her wand toy is her weakness, and the key to her heart! She can often be spotted carrying it around the house in her mouth :)
Bast is also smitten with her foster humans, following them as they go about their tasks, curling around their legs and occasionally giving them a bit of a groom!
Like all Maggie's pets, Bast is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I love people so much! I'm always keen to be interacting them either through play or a snuggle. I think I'd appreciate a purrmanent cat companion, but if you’re home a lot, I’ll play with you instead!
And it goes without saying that you'll have to adore my cuddly and affectionate nature! Get ready for lots of paws-on couch time with me, and at night, expect me to curl up with a big sigh and rumbly purrs in the back of your knees and fall contentedly asleep.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As long as kids were kind and respectful, I think I'd be okay with them and enjoy clambering over them!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My litter mates are great fun - we love wrestling and cuddling! - so I reckon I'd thrive with a feline friend in my new home.
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
