About Diesel
Diesel is looking for a foster home or foster with the possibility to adopt.
Diesel is currently spending time with a dog trainer honing his manners, the trainer will be happy to do a hand over with his new carer/owner and offer ongoing support.
What Diesel is looking for in his new home
- An experience working breed dog owner.
- Toys and enrichments activities.
- The opportunity to have training sessions.
- A good size yard to play in
- An inside/outside life style, and to sleep inside of a night.
- No young children living in the home.
Diesel is a working breed dog and will need an active lifestyle. He is only young but is keen to learn with an experienced dog owner.
Diesel loves playing fetch, and tug of war, wrestling and chase with other dogs that he is living with. Diesel is very mouthy and can nip people, not in aggression but when playing and wanting attention. He will need training around how to greet people so he doesn’t jump up on them and bark. Diesel can be vocal in the car. He walks well on the lead and is happy to walk by your side, when he sees other dogs or people, he barks at them in excitement. Diesel is doing well with his toilet training and with regular access to outside he stays accident free.
Diesel loves his people and when they are home he enjoys playing, following them and resting with them. At night he has been sleeping on his carers bed and is even known to get under the covers on a cold night. Diesel is happy to rest in his crate during the day, he does some little whines when he first goes in but soon settles.
Diesel would benefit from one-on-one dog training sessions with a dog trainer. We can give you contact details of some trainers if needed depending on where you live.
Diesel feels the cold and enjoys sleeping under the covers with you of a night and having a jumper on during the day.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
