The beautiful and man of the people Ricky is now seeking his forever home

With a deep red coat and those adorable ears this boy is such a cutie

Sweet, intelligent loveable and loads of fun- Ricky has such beautiful blue eyes and those adorable big ( Dobby) ears lol .Ricky is so affectionate and loving and has such huge potential as he is so keen to learn

Ricky Loves playing with other dogs, but loves his humans just as much. At bedtime he will sneak under the blankets and sleep at your feet all night. Ricky loves playing with toys and his K9 friends

Ricky is a Border Collie x Koolie ( Hence his ears) that we think he should grow into lol He is VERY loving and affectionate and based on his little size we feel will only be a smaller size med dog at full growth.He has also had 2 sets of his puppy vaccines so ready to start puppy school and adventure out into the big wide world with his new family.

Ricky loves playing with the other dogs in the house . He also loves to play in his sandpit and ball pit. He also loves soft toys that squeak, balls and really just toys in general. Ricky also loves human pats and will snuggle with you for hours

Due to Ricky's age we see no problem with adopting him to a cat home. Your cat would need to be dog savvy.

Ricky is currently living with multiple other dogs of all shapes and sizes and gets along fantastic with all of them. If you have a dog in residence they would need to be well socialized and playful

Ricky loves meeting new people and will wag his tail and come to you for lots of love and pats. Ricky is very gentle with everyone he meets.

Rick will sit for a treat. He is completely toilet trained. However in a new home I would expect him to have a few accidents until he feels comfortable in his new surroundings.

Ricky currently sleeps under the covers of my bed at my feet, on occasions he will fall asleep on a dog bed but he much prefers under the covers. He puts himself to bed by 9pm and will remain asleep even when you wake up in the morning.

Ricky is a fun loving boy who adores getting out and about for runs and walks so will definitely need a daily walk to keep him fit and healthy

Ricky has been seen by a Dermatologist and has been diagnosed with colour dilution alopecia. This is where the pigment dilute gene (which causes pigment clumping which in turns creates leads to over clumping of the pigment within the hair shaft This in turn leads to weak points and premature hair shaft breakage, as well as within the hair bulb, potentially affecting production of the hair shaft also. In Ricky's case all of the hair has grown back on his body now after a few months of medication in which we have now stopped with exception to his face which will probably never have a full covering of hair but this is no problem for little Ricky as long as he is wearing sunscreen when he goes outside He can also squint in very bright sun so will need access to lots of shade outside

ADOPTION CRITERIA

A home with a medium to large backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing. We would really love a home with another dog! If another dog is in residence already we seize a playmate who is well socialized and enjoys a good game of chase and zoomies . A daily walk will be essential so we seek an active home please

Ricky must be able to be indoors or a very shaded area on sunny days (due to his light blue eyes please )

Although not tested with cats if you have a dog savvy cat and willing to put the time into correct introductions we will consider your application

We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies

An active home who can make the snuggly Ricky a part of their family
