About Sylvester
Meet Sylvester, our playful and cuddly purr machine. This charming little guy boasts a grey and white coat sprinkled with patches of pale ginger, and his belly sports an adorable pattern of beautiful markings. With his beautiful fur that's incredibly soft to touch, he's bound to get some 'awws' from anyone who meets him!
Sylvester adores getting tummy rubs any time of day. His preferred games involve anything that moves, and he thoroughly enjoys play sessions with his brother. His favourite toy is a dangling star on a string, which he chases around with endless joy.
Sylvester is a very easygoing and sociable kitten. Not much seems to bother him, not even the loud noises of the vacuum cleaner. That's probably due to his curious nature and love for adventure.
When he's not in the midst of a playful spree, you'll find Sylvester dozing off in sunny patches or snuggled in his cozy tunnel or a comfy box. His other favourite spot? Instilled in the warm comfort of a person's lap.
He's alsogreat with children, he's used to being carried around by a 6-year-old, never fussing about it, and he demonstrates a gentle and patient nature which makes him perfect for a family with kids.
Sylvester has grown into a confident and happy kitten who loves exploring his environment. He's adjusted wonderfully well in his foster home and now can't wait to find his new family who he can share all his love and joy with.
Ideally, Sylvester hopes to find a family home with children and/or other animals for company. He is very social and would be over the moon if he could be adopted with his brother, Arnie. This sweet, playful, and charming feline can't wait to bring love, affection, and positive energy into his new family's home.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
